       Once long ago there were many types of ESPs...Defenders, Support, Assault and lastly Protectors. As mankind advanced in technology. Their need for and belief in spirits decreased. So the need for the other factions of spirits disappeared. As this happened humans became more and more dependant on technology and less on the spirits. Soon the humans stopped believing in the spirits. And the few that did believed tried to hunt down, kill and or capture the spirits. 

 

     The Spirit father gave the order for the ESPs to return to their crystaline form (A crystal statue like state ). Until the time would come when they were once needed again. Within the turn of the 21st century the fire and water spirit awoke from their crystaline forms only to find most of thier spirit family statues destroyed or missing. This cause the fire spirit to go on a rampage attacking humans. While the water spirit battled to protect the humans.  One believes in the destruction of all humans and the other believes in the defence and power of the human spirit. Suddenly an old enemy emerges. The surge a parasitic alien that slowly absorbs other life forms, deforms them and forces them to evil acts.
